Backend engineer who owns what he ships — from the first design doc to the third production incident. Ten-plus years across banking, telecom, and B2B SaaS, mostly in Python and Java on AWS. Joined the team developing the EMoT VPP (Virtual Power Plant), a distributed energy management platform for IoT-connected devices. Worked across the Java 21 backend and AWS IoT device layer, delivering new functionality while maintaining existing services. Contributed to technical design, code reviews, testing, and supported junior engineers during implementation.
I worked on the Hearsay Social product enabling compliant customer communication for financial advisors via social media, SMS, and local web pages. I designed and built the new profile management system from scratch in Python on AWS (FastAPI, Lambda, DynamoDB), replacing a legacy solution. I developed and maintained cloud-native microservices, owned infrastructure with Terraform and Terragrunt, and took full ownership from design through production rollout. Following Hearsay's acquisition by Yext in 2024, I continued building and maintaining business-critical services, contributed to architectural decisions, and collaborated closely with Product, QA, and Platform teams. Throughout the entire tenure I mentored junior developers and interns, and actively participated in technical recruitment from intern to senior level.
Built backend services for OTP's new internet and mobile banking platform serving millions of customers. Worked with Java 11 and Akka in a reactive microservices environment, delivering highly available services under strict banking quality and compliance standards.
Developed event-driven backend services for Telekom's shipment management platform, automating webshop order fulfillment. Integrated multiple courier APIs into a unified routing engine using Kotlin, Java, Spring Boot, RabbitMQ, and MongoDB.
Developed internal tooling for Ericsson's hardware testing and continuous integration environment. Delivered web applications in Laravel and Django alongside Java-based utilities, working across multiple technologies to support automated QA workflows.
Developed Java-based logistics software for BMW AG and created a reusable Spring Boot Test Data Generation Framework adopted across multiple projects. Gained strong experience with enterprise software development, quality standards, and large-scale delivery practices.
